Contrast by the smoothly plastered window flaps.

The restoration-based investigation of the findings was the basis for the façade design. The plaster structure and the coloration were performed within the appearance of the early 18th century. Similar to the old plaster pattern, the facade was plastered according to the run of the walls and the brickwork during the habilitation. The result was a rustic, lively rendering, with different depth effects depending on the incidence of light and the visual angle. The Baumit RK 39 pure lime plaster applied as a coarse-grained base rendering served as a nonskid substrate for the historical HR spray plaster reproduced from the original. This combination of materials gave the church construction its typical character. As a contrast to this, the smoothly plastered window flaps as well as the clear dividing line between the steeple and the nave - which serves as an expansion joint at the same time.
