Weilburg, riverside flats

Barrier-free, with high-quality technical equipment, cost-efficient and modern. Two free-standing buildings with a total of 14 residential units of between 65 and 150 square metres were constructed in close proximity to the River Lahn. The ground floor of the two buildings provides parking for vehicles and serves as a protection zone against possible flooding, which was included in the planning despite its improbability. The design and execution are characterised by a harmonious combination of wood and plaster, thus highlighting the connection to the surrounding nature.
